Trumpets, Pearls & Swirls
The deadline to get your tickets for the Best Party Ever is fast approaching. Read on to find out more about this shindig.
Tomorrow September 1st is the deadline to sign for our Best Party Ever. This is one shindig you don’t want to miss. You can purchase your tickets from our website here.
The party will take place at the Historic Missouri Theater on September 10 from 7-10 p.m. Outside party goers will find classic cars lining the street. Patrons will have the opportunity to have their pictures taken beside these cars by Double E Images. Guests can also lounge on sofas outside while enjoying cigars, old-fashioned popcorn, drinks and appetizers.
Inside party-goers will find black and white balloons, pearls and posters featuring 1930s events. Roaming barbershop quartets will provide entertainment and big band music will pour down from the mezzanine. Hy-Vee and Luna’s will be catering the event, providing a variety of food and a dessert bar.
In honor of Second Harvest’s 30th anniversary, a special cake presentation will take place at 8:30 p.m. The cake will be provided by Delish Bakery.
We will also honor three humanitarians who have helped us along the way. These Humanitarians include: Joe Mazur, Dan Hegeman and Scott Hillyard.
