Second Harvest Community Food Bank is proud to announce Chevy Hinthorne as Diplomat of the Quarter.
Hinthorne splits her time among many volunteer roles including Harvest House (Second Harvest’s on-site pantry where she stocks and assist Members), being a Harvest Ambassador and working special events and community resource fairs. During the summer, Hinthorne helped serve meals for No Hunger Summer, Second Harvest’s summer feeding program. Often times, Hinthorne even stays late to help with filing for Senior Boxes and Harvest House.
It’s easy to tell that Hinthorne is an amazing volunteer and positive comments are echoed around the organization.
“She is a wonderful volunteer,” says a Second Harvest employee. “She goes out of her way to help.”
“If there is a volunteer opportunity, Chevy will take it,” says an employee. “Besides three days in Harvest House, she gave two other days to summer feeding.”
Hinthorne truly enjoys volunteering at Second Harvest.
“I’m proud to be a member of Second Harvest,” Hinthorne said. “I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve.”
Second Harvest is truly lucky to have such an amazing Diplomat. Help us to congratulate her as Diplomat of the Quarter.
